Elvas triumphed at home, with a thrilling 2-1 victory over the Portuguese Championship Series D leader, Vitória de Setúbal. This result, which reflects the same outcome as the first round match in the city of Sado, reaffirms our strength and determination.

The game started with a challenge, as the Sadinos opened the scoring in the 15th minute, with a great goal from Flavinho. However, our team showed resilience and determination throughout the match. In the second half, in the 81st minute, César Medina tied the game with an impeccable penalty, sending the fans into a frenzy.

In the 86th minute, Romarinho scored a great goal from outside the area, placing the ball in the top left corner, guaranteeing the victory for Elvas. This goal not only sealed our victory, but also demonstrated our team’s skill and fighting spirit.

With this victory, Elvas moved up to sixth place in the table, standing out as the only team to defeat Vitória de Setúbal twice this season.
