O Elvas Launches the First “Goalkeeper Day”

The Estádio Municipal de Atletismo de Elvas will host the first Goalkeeper Day, a pioneering event that will take place monthly, with dates to be announced in due course by the SAD and the club. The initiative will bring together all the goalkeepers from the club’s and SAD’s youth teams for a day of training, learning and celebration.

Organized by José Ferreira and his dedicated team of goalkeeper coaches, who work every day to ensure the future of Elves’ goalkeepers, the event will be attended by goalkeepers from junior to senior age. In an atmosphere of camaraderie and professionalism, the young athletes will be able to develop their technical and tactical skills, share experiences and strengthen ties with their colleagues and coaches. Parents are invited to attend the training session, which starts at 6pm, to create a close-knit family atmosphere and reinforce the club and SAD’s commitment to involving the community in the growth and development of their players. Goalkeeper Day promises to become a tradition at the blue and gold club, highlighting the importance of quality training for the goalkeeper position and consolidating the work of the SAD and the club in valuing local talent.
