This Saturday, September 23rd, O Elvas achieved a memorable 1-0 victory against UD Lanheses in the second round of the Portuguese Cup, in a game played at Campo Domingos “Patalino”. 

With this victory, O Elvas advances to the third round of the Portuguese Cup, a feat that has not happened since 1999. The victory was hard-fought and difficult, but absolutely deserved. The decisive goal was scored by Ari in the 90+1 minute, after a free kick taken by Enoh, which resulted in an incomplete save by the opposing goalkeeper and a well-aimed reload by Ari.
