We are looking for a Social Media Manager who is passionate about sport, creative and proactive to join the O Elvas SAD team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the club’s digital presence, creating content that engages our community and promotes the team’s success. It will be essential to have photographic skills, especially in the sporting context, and availability to work during the weekends, following the club’s events and games.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the club’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, and others).
- Produce high-quality visual content, including sports photography, videos, and graphics.
- Cover matches, training sessions, and events, ensuring professional photo and video coverage.
- Develop strategies to enhance audience engagement and increase the club’s online visibility.
- Respond to comments and messages on social media, maintaining positive interaction with fans.
- Analyze metrics and create reports to optimize content performance.
- Collaborate with the technical staff, players, and administrative team to align digital communication with the club’s goals.
- Travel with the team to cover away matches and significant events.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in managing social media platforms, preferably in the sports industry.
- Strong skills in sports photography and photo editing (Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar tools).
- Video editing skills are a plus.
- Ability to write creative and engaging content tailored to the target audience.
- Familiarity with analytics tools like Meta Business Suite or Google Analytics.
- Availability to work on weekends and attend the club’s matches.
- Proactive attitude, passion for sports, and team spirit.
- Good physical stamina to cover matches and events in various conditions.
