Job Description

As a Football Mental coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental and emotional wellbeing of our football players. You will work closely with athletes to help them develop the mental skills needed to perform at their best, including:

• Mental Toughness: Developing resilience, focus and the ability to handle pressure.
• Goal Setting: Helping athletes set clear and achievable goals.
• Motivation and Discipline: Encouraging consistent practice and commitment.
• Confidence and Self-Esteem: Promoting a positive mindset and self-belief.
• Managing Adversity: Developing strategies to deal with setbacks and failures.
• Performance Optimization: Implement techniques for peak game day performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in sports psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• Experience working with athletes or in a sports environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for football and a deep understanding of the mental aspects of sports.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with athletes.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead individual and group mental training sessions.
• Develop and implement personalized mental training plans for athletes.
• Provide support and guidance to athletes during training and competition.
• Train coaches and staff in mental training techniques.
• Monitor and analyze athlete progress.
• Stay current on the latest research and trends in sports psychology.
